venomancer/lesale deathbringer

For those obsessed with death, poison is a necessary study. However, Lesale went a step too far. He experimented upon himself with various toxins and chemicals so that he could learn the secrets of death. These twisted his mind and mutated his body into a hideous creature which embodies an immense hatred for all things pure. He can strike enemies with a concentrated shot of poison or even spread a toxic gas throughout an entire area, severely weakening beast and human alike.

Venomancer was already an extremely good hero in 6.57 and older versions. But the new update in 6.58 made shadow strike an aoe move to shadow gale which i think is extremely unbalanced as it is almost 2x more effective than shadow strike. The main thing for veno is his ulti, poison nova. it hurts big time but problem is that you can't kill anyone with it. Will elaborate more later.

Venomous Gale
Releases a Venomous Gale which poisons enemy units it comes in contact with. Poisoned units take initial damage, damage over time, and have their movement speed slowed for a short duration.

Level 1 - 50 strike damage, 10 duration damage.
Level 2 - 70 strike damage, 20 duration damage.
Level 3 - 70 strike damage, 40 duration damage.
Level 4 - 100 strike damage, 50 duration damage.

Cooldown: 22
Manacost: 90/105/120/135

Level 1: 90 mana, 22 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 105 mana, 22 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 120 mana, 22 sec cooldown.
Level 4: 135 mana, 22 sec cooldown.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Poison Sting
Adds poison damage to this hero's normal attacks, slowing movement speed by 10%.
Lasts 7 seconds.

Level 1 - Deals 5 damage per second.
Level 2 - Deals 10 damage per second.
Level 3 - Deals 15 damage per second.
Level 4 - Deals 20 damage per second.

Buff placers do not stack

Passive

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Plague Ward
Summons an immobile serpentine ward. The ward is immune to magic.
Lasts 40 seconds.

Level 1 - 75 hit points, 11 max damage.
Level 2 - 200 hit points, 21 max damage.
Level 3 - 325 hit points, 32 max damage.
Level 4 - 450 hit points, 42 max damage.

Cooldown: 5 seconds.

Level 1: 20 mana, 5 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 20 mana, 5 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 20 mana, 5 sec cooldown.
Level 4: 20 mana, 5 sec cooldown.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Poison Nova
Creates a ring of noxious poison that damages enemy units over a 12 second period.

Level 1 - 36 damage per second.
Level 2 - 58 damage per second.
Level 3 - 81 damage per second.

Cooldown: 140/120/100 seconds.

Level 1: 200 mana, 140 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 300 mana, 120 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 400 mana, 100 sec cooldown.

As I said, this is a hurting skill but unable to kill anyone, maximum getting the hp to 1. Best combo-ed with shadow gale, and continuous whacking to get best chance for kill. Affects wide area too.

Overall i think that venomancer is an extreme hero which can go for any builds including int, as aghanim will inprove its ulti EVEN FURTHER, making it close to a sure kill for veno.

Item Build: 1)Power treads 2)Vanguard/Lothar 3)Butterfly 4)Buriza/Aghanim 5)Heart 6)Buriza/Aghanim

chances are that you won't be able to farm that much, but good try!

Phantom Assasin/Mortred/PA

Pitted against the very society that condemned her to a life of Undeath, Mortred takes delight in the slaughter of her kindred people. Abandoned during their expeditious retreat in battle, she was left to the mercy of the undead. Her twisted fate was merely a sacrifice to them - a tool in slowing their predators' pursuit. But… the Lich King saw the malevolence and hatred within her. He bestowed upon her an opportunity - a vessel of darkness with which to enact her vengeance. Eternally grateful of his service, Mortred hunts her wretched Night Elf sisters from the shadows, fueled by an insatiable desire to seek justice. I was playing dota this few days before i realised i was already owning with this hero... unbelievable power... once you reach lvl 16 even if you do not have any items, it is still possible to own...

Stifling Dagger
Hurls a dagger which deals minor pure damage and slows the unit's movement speed for a short duration. Deals half damage to heroes.

Level 1 - 40 Damage, 50% Slow. Lasts 1 seconds.
Level 2 - 80 Damage, 50% Slow. Lasts 2 seconds.
Level 3 - 120 Damage, 50% Slow. Lasts 3 seconds.
Level 4 - 160 Damage, 50% Slow. Lasts 4 seconds.

Cooldown: 10
Manacost: 30/25/20/15

Level 1: 30 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 25 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 20 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 4: 15 mana, 10 sec cooldown.

surprisingly this skill can be used for 3 purposes. 1) Harrasing 2) Creep farming 3)super slowing... This is a must max skill whether early middle or late games...

Blink Strike
Teleports to a unit and strikes it if it is a foe, dealing bonus damage. Casting range improves per level.
Costs 50 mana.

Level 1 - deals 30 extra damage.
Level 2 - deals 60 extra damage.
Level 3 - deals 90 extra damage.
Level 4 - deals 120 extra damage.

Cooldown: 30/20/10/5 seconds.

Level 1: 50 mana, 30 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 50 mana, 20 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 50 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 4: 50 mana, 5 sec cooldown.

another important skill... allows you to blink a short distance to either retreat or for a good attack.

Blur
The Phantom Assassin becomes hard to see by blurring her body. Some enemy attacks miss.

Level 1 - 7% dodge.
Level 2 - 14% dodge.
Level 3 - 21% dodge.
Level 4 - 28% dodge.

Passive

Pretty important skill at late games once you have your butterfly. evasion is extremely high at about 50%...

Coup de grĂ¢ce
Mortred has refined her hero-killing skills to a high degree.

Level 1 - 15% chance to 2.0x critical.
Level 2 - 15% chance to 3.0x critical.
Level 3 - 15% chance to 4.0x critical.

Passive

This to me is one of the best ultimates in the whole game... at lvl 16, 4x is obviously alot... if you farm extremely well, you can actually kill heroes in 2 hits... it works superb with helmet of dominator/satanic/vladmir offering...

Skill build...

LVL 1: stifling dagger
LVL 2: Blink Strike
LVL 3: stifling dagger
LVL 4: blink and so on.....
LVL 6: Coup De Grace

for the others, max out dagger then blink strike and the blur before attribute bonus

Item Build (according to 5 v 5 when you CHOOSE pa): 1) 2 circlet of nobility, 2 healing salves. 2) 2 wraith bands 3) boots of speed 4) Helmet of dominator 5) power treads 6)battle fury 7) butterfly 8)satanic

TAKE NOTE: IF YOU ARE CONFIDENT OF YOUR SKILLS OF FARMING, YOU MIGHT WANT TO JUST GET HELMET OF DOMINATOR IMMEDIATELY INSTEAD OF BUYING CIRCLETS, THIS IS ONLY FOR SUPERB FARMERS. YOU ARE BETTER OFF WITH MY BUILD IF YOUR FARMING SKILLS ARE NOT GOOD.

Omniknight/Purist Thunderwrath

A former member of the Order of the Silver Hand, Purist has joined the Sentinel to avenge the death of the Order's leader, Uther the Lightbringer. Trained by Uther himself in the ways of the Paladin, Purist brings the power of the Holy Light to the battlefield. He can purify the souls of allies, harming any nearby Scourge in the process. Able to protect allies from harmful unholy magic, the mere presence of a man of the Holy Light atrophies any nearby enemies. In times of dire need, Purist can call upon God himself to protect him and his allies. This is more of a support type hero then a killer. Great hero in the late games as he can really own once you have the right items. Having the ability to heal and slow enemies in an area makes a great help for ganging and some nice whacks.

Skills.

Purification
Instantly heals a friendly unit and damages all nearby enemy units.

Level 1 - Purifies 90 hit points.
Level 2 - Purifies 180 hit points.
Level 3 - Purifies 270 hit points.
Level 4 - Purifies 360 hit points.

Cooldown: 12 seconds.

Level 1: 100 mana, 12 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 120 mana, 12 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 140 mana, 12 sec cooldown.
Level 4: 160 mana, 12 sec cooldown.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Repel
Creates a powerful divine ward that blocks all magic from affecting a target unit.

Level 1 - Lasts 5 seconds.
Level 2 - Lasts 10 seconds.
Level 3 - Lasts 15 seconds.
Level 4 - Lasts 20 seconds.

Cooldown: 20 seconds.

Level 1: 60 mana, 20 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 70 mana, 20 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 80 mana, 20 sec cooldown.
Level 4: 90 mana, 20 sec cooldown.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Degen Aura
Greatly degenerates the movement capabilities of units that stray too near.

Level 1 - Reduces movement speed by 7%.
Level 2 - Reduces movement speed by 14%.
Level 3 - Reduces movement speed by 21%.
Level 4 - Reduces movement speed by 28%.

Passive

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guardian Angel
Grants all nearby friendly units near physical invulnerability and increases hit point regeneration greatly.

Level 1 - Lasts 5 seconds.
Level 2 - Lasts 7 seconds.
Level 3 - Lasts 9 seconds.

Cooldown: 150 seconds.

Level 1: 125 mana, 150 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 175 mana, 150 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 250 mana, 150 sec cooldown.

Strategy.

The best strategy is actually to max out healing then degen aura then repel in the last. Some users might think that repel will be a lot more important than degen aura but that is wrong as degen aura is the main skill that will allow allies to get whacks agaisnt your enemies as it slows them down greatly. Healing is the first skill to max as it does 360 damage to enemies when you use it near them + you heal one of your ally or yourself 360hp. As why I would say that this is a super support hero is that of guardian angel. 5 seconds invulnerabilty at lvl 1 is just a big help as it allows you to finish off towers in without having to fear a backstab or anything else. Generally a great hero in terms of support and makes a better "slower" than lich.

Items: 1) power treads/ boots of travel 2) battle fury 3) battle fury 4) assault cuirass 5) Vladmir offering 6) refresher orb(to double your ultimate's time , this is good if you go mad during late game and just dash into your opponents fountain and whack your opponent..................)

Thats all!! Good luck!

Blog edition

I've added a a youtube search for everybody to search for any dota vids that might make any help... at the bottom of the page i've added a mario game to get rid of boredom!!

Bloodseeker/Strywyr/bs

An unusual hybrid of Demon and Orc, Strygwyr is an outcast amongst all mortal creatures. By thriving on and bathing himself with the blood of those he slays, Strygwyr can heal his wounds - even those that could prove fatal. Beware the fool who dares venturing alone, for Strygwyr can sense his blood miles away and gain vison through his helpless prey's eyes. Having ruptured the enemy with mighty blows in his bloodthirsty frenzies, Strygwyr corners his foe into making the impossible decision - bleed to death by trying to outrun the hasty demon, or be ripped to shreds in its awesome fury. Superb hero i have to say... I didn't even have to go back to my base to heal.. i just went back for items and recipes... Superb killer at late games as you can really hurt with this hero.

SKills.

Bloodrage
Drives a unit into a bloodthristy rage. That unit is unable to cast spells, has its attack damage increased, and loses a small amount of hit points every second.

Level 1 - 20% damage increase, loses 20 HP per second. 6 seconds.
Level 2 - 40% damage increase, loses 15 HP per second. 9 seconds.
Level 3 - 60% damage increase, loses 10 HP per second. 12 seconds.
Level 4 - 80% damage increase, loses 5 HP per second. 15 seconds.

Cooldown: 20
Manacost: 80

Level 1: 80 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 80 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 80 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 4: 80 mana, 10 sec cooldown.

Blood Bath
Whenever Strygwyr kills a unit, he bathes himself in the blood, regenerating his life source.

Level 1 - 10% of the Hero's max hp. 5% for creeps.
Level 2 - 20% of the Hero's max hp. 10% for creeps.
Level 3 - 30% of the Hero's max hp. 15% for creeps.
Level 4 - 40% of the Hero's max hp. 20% for creeps.

Passive

Strygwyr's Thirst
Enables Strygwyr to sense the bleeding of any enemy hero below 40% hp. If it finds one, Strygwyr gains vision of that unit and increases move speed.

Level 1 - 11% movement increase, small area.
Level 2 - 22% movement increase, moderate area.
Level 3 - 33% movement increase, large area.
Level 4 - 44% movement increase, huge area.

Passive

Rupture
Deals a mighty blow to the enemy causing any movement to result in bleeding and loss of life.

Level 1 - 150 damage, 20% of distance moved in damage. Lasts 5 seconds.
Level 2 - 250 damage, 40% of distance moved in damage. Lasts 7 seconds.
Level 3 - 350 damage, 60% of distance moved in damage. Lasts 9 seconds.

Cooldown: 100 seconds.

Level 1: 150 mana, 100 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 200 mana, 100 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 250 mana, 100 sec cooldown.

Strategy.

Most people use rupture immediately when they see the enemy hero... to me, that is an extremely big mistake as your opponent will probably not run when having a 1 v 1 duel until he/she is dying. The best time to use rupture is actually when you can see that your opponents health is left with 1/3 as this will almost guarantee a sure kill.

Item build.

1)power treads 2) Sange and yasha 3) butterfly 4)radiance 5)vladmir offering 6) Heart of Tarrasque

Medusa/Gorgon

Ok!!! Finally I found a hero that can get juggernaut out in the early stages!!MEDUSA!!!!!

An insidious creature that dwelled for eons in the underwater prisons of Nazjatar, the Gorgon was unwittingly freed during the war waged between King Arthas's Scourge and the Naga on the icy shores of Northrend. Plagued by undeath in the aftermath, Medusa welcomed the blessing of immortality. Gifted with a keen sense of archery and affinity to magic at birth, she has honed her skills over the ages – striking multiple foes with a single volley of arrows, debilitating them with jolts of lightning, and even conjuring a protective barrier of mana. Like her namesake, Medusa instills paralyzing fear into all that dare cross her path. No.1 hero for early stages as it has slow chain lightning and even mana shield... extremely good hero to use... easy to master and all that....

Skills:

Split Shot

Medusa magically splits her shot into three arrows. These arrows deal a lower percent of her normal damage.
Level 1 - 45% damage
Level 2 - 55% damage
Level 3 - 65% damage
Level 4 - 75% damage
Passive
OK... Split shot is not really useful until late games when you have maximised your damage for nice attacks. This skill should be maxed last even before attributes as your damage will be lesser compared to single shot.

Chain Lightning

Hurls a bolt of damaging lightning at a target enemy that jumps to nearby enemies. Each jump deals less damage.
Level 1 - 75 damage, jumps 3 times.
Level 2 - 150 damage, jumps 5 times.
Level 3 - 225 damage, jumps 7 times.
Level 4 - 300 damage, jumps 9 times.
Cooldown: 11 seconds.
Level 1: 90 mana, 11 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 105 mana, 11 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 125 mana, 11 sec cooldown.
Level 4: 145 mana, 11 sec cooldown.

A great skill early in the game as 300 damage does hurt after all...(consider it to be the first skill)

Mana Shield

Creates a shield that absorbs 50% of the incoming damage by using Medusa's mana.
Level 1 - .75 damage per point of mana.
Level 2 - 1.25 damage per point of mana.
Level 3 - 1.5 damage per point of mana.
Level 4 - 2 damage per point of mana.
Level 1: 0 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 0 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 0 mana, 10 sec cooldown.
Level 4: 0 mana, 10 sec cooldown.

This is also a super important skill as it greatly reduces damage from powerful attacks such as omnislash, assasinate and all the other ultimates. Big help in the late game as it can really absorb so much damage if you have the mana.

Purge

Casts a powerful anti-magic buff at a target enemy unit.Slows movement and attack speeds for 5 seconds.
Level 1 - Slows speed by a factor of 2.
Level 2 - Slows speed by a factor of 3.
Level 3 - Slows speed by a factor of 5.
Deals 600/800/1000 damage to summoned units.
Cooldown: 12/11/10
Level 1: 60 mana, 12 sec cooldown.
Level 2: 60 mana, 11 sec cooldown.
Level 3: 60 mana, 10 sec cooldown.

This skill works like diffusal blade just that it slows even more and the cooldown is lesser compared to diffusal blade. Great skill for ganging as it slows down the enemy.

Item Build: 1)Boots of speed 2)Eye of Skadi 3)Perserverance (can be used for bloodstone upgrade if you want) 4)Buriza 5)Bloodstone 6)Upgrade the perseverance to either battle fury or linken sphere 7)Divine Rapier (rapes your enemies)

Some people might say that eye of skadi is pretty useless but it is not true... together with purge it can really slow your opponent down for some good hits and ganging. You would want a Buriza as it stacks with split shot. If you manage to get this build, you would probably be owning bad so a Divine Rapier would be great for split shot/hurting damage. Bloodstone increases your hp and mana so you might want to consider buying that. Overall, this build is meant people who only care about slowing people for a good attack.
